DONATE TO THE TATTOO
We’ve been a part of Halifax summers for nearly 50 years.
We’ve featured performers from more than 30 countries.
We’ve welcomed more than 2.2 million people to Halifax.
They come because the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo is a storied tradition in our province. We’re here to honour and celebrate, to cheer and recollect. To shine a spotlight on the best of us for the rest of the world to see.
WE WANT TO CONTINUE SHARING THE HISTORY, CULTURE AND HERITAGE OF HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA, AND CANADA.
Help us keep the Tattoo tradition alive

RECOGNIZING
THE HEROES

We honour those who serve, those who sacrificed, and those who contribute to bringing about peace and stability around the world. Their stories are plentiful and we’re committed to telling them all.
SHARING
OUR VOICES

We recognize the importance of sharing our voices, our stories, and our cultures in Nova Scotia. At the Tattoo, we shine a spotlight on our history, our heritage and our culture to educate audiences about the many people who live here.
HONOURING
OUR MILITARY

Our mission is to recognize Canada’s Armed Forces, RCMP, and other first responders while also celebrating the heritage of Canadians’ contributions to national and international peace and stability.
HIGHLIGHTING
GAELIC CULTURE

The skirl of the pipes, the beat of the drums, the reels and jigs and sword dances… the Gaelic culture in Nova Scotia led to our creation in 1979 and all these years later, we are still committed to sharing Gaelic music and traditions.
LOOKING TO
THE FUTURE

While so many in our audience has grown up with us, we’re also committed to finding new audiences and making the Tattoo more engaging to young people and families, and newcomers to Nova Scotia. Here’s to the future!
Your show. Your stories. Your future.
For nearly 50 years the Tattoo has been Nova Scotia’s premier summer spectacle, the hallmark event on the Halifax calendar, and a showcase for audiences from all over the world to see the best of the best local and international talent.
But we can’t do it without your support. As a non-profit and registered charity, we rely on the generous and ongoing support of donors to keep the show moving.
By supporting the Tattoo and its mission to honour our history, culture and heritage, and to support those who serve, you become an essential part of our story.
