The Stadacona Band of the Royal Canadian Navy, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is a professional military band with a proud tradition of musical excellence spanning 85 years. Representing Canada’s East Coast Navy, the ‘Stad Band’ provides musical support to the Canadian Armed Forces, and to all levels of government through a variety of public engagements across the Atlantic provinces, Canada, and the world. They are best known for their annual participation in the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo.
