STADACONA BAND OF THE ROYAL CANADIAN NAVY – CANADIAN ARMED FORCES

The Stadacona Band of the Royal Canadian Navy has been the long-time host band for the Royal Nova Scotia International tattoo, performing since the very first show. Formed in 1940, the band has performed for royalty, for heads of state, for military officials and more. Its musicians perform all over Atlantic Canada courtesy of the Commander, Maritime Forces Atlantic and as proud, musical ambassadors of the Royal Canadian Navy. The band’s musicians bring a unique blend of tradition and excellence to every stage they grace. Watch for them performing in their navy whites!

“The Tattoo has to be the one Canadian/Nova Scotia show to check off a bucket list. We liked it so much, that we’ve now made it an annual event for our family. As each year has a different theme, you never know what to expect. But one thing that never changes is the marching of the mass band. It’s just AWESOME!”
