The Composite Band of the 5^th Canadian Division is part of the Full Time Summer Employment Program of the Canadian Army Reserve. Since its inception in 2022 the Band has employed musicians from both 36 and 37 Canadian Brigade Groups of the Atlantic Provinces. This year, the Band is comprised of members from the 36 Canadian Brigade Group Band in Halifax, Nova Scotia and the Band of the 3^rd Field Regiment of the Royal Canadian Artillery in Saint John, New Brunswick, and the Prince Edward Island Regiment Band in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. 

The 5^th Canadian Division Composite Band has supported many local events including the visit of Her Royal Highness Princess Anne in 2023 as well as ceremonies for the Commemoration of the No. 2 Construction Battalion in Pictou, Nova Scotia and the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo in Halifax. The Band continues to support Regular Force and Reserve Force units in the Atlantic region as well as community events throughout the Maritimes.
