Nova Scotia International Tattoo Foundation

The Nova Scotia International Tattoo Foundation was established by Letters Patent on July 8, 1999 and is a registered charitable organization designated as a public foundation with a current registration number BN 89220 2326 RR001. The Foundation is led by a volunteer Board of Directors. The overall objectives of the Foundation are:
- To assist in the long-term viability of the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo Society by providing financial and other support as and when necessary to help the Tattoo production break even on a year-to-year basis.
- To encourage and promote military and military-related music appreciation and education, particularly among young people.
- To support the Tattoo Youth Pipes and Drums Program.
- To encourage and promote music and dance which reflects the historical and multicultural heritage of Canada.
